Qi/Chi: The Universal Energy
It has different names in different cultures: Chi, Qi, Prana, and Rouach, but the meaning remains the same, the universal energy, the life force that is the essence of our world.
It can materialize in different ways, shapes, or forms; and can never be destroyed. It is the energy that makes our universe move.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, there is a belief that we are born with a certain amount of Chi; and it is stored in our kidneys. As we grow older, our chi reservoir gets depleted (especially if we abuse our body with an excessive amount of alcohol, drugs, or sex), which makes our physical body more susceptive to different kinds of ailments.
But don't worry; we can revitalize the Chi energy in our body in different ways, such as: by eating seasonal and nourishing foods, breathing techniques, and energy healing treatments.
When receiving energy healing frequently, the practitioner gives a boost of energy to the client's body which makes the body use that energy for healing (imagine plugging your phone into the charger). Some benefits may include anxiety relief, fighting insomnia and helping you sleep better, cleansing the body of toxins, supporting the immune system, clearing the mind, and improving focus.
When the time comes, and you are choosing to put yourself first, I will be more than happy to help with your healing journey.
